Hello and thank you for being here! My name is Jacey Fruge, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. I am currently earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with a MFT emphasis from the University of San Francisco.
The driving factor in my passion for this work is the belief in the therapeutic relationship and human connection. Pulling from a person-centered approach, I maintain the belief that everyone is the expert of their own lives. My goal is to foster a safe, nonjudgemental environment where I can support you in understanding yourself and the ways your experiences have shaped you more deeply.
Using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy, I am committed to helping guide and strengthen your ability to be present with difficult thoughts and emotions without being controlled by them. My goal in working collaboratively on skills and emotional processing is to assist in your ability to live a fulfilled, authentic life.
